You have experience in account management or sales, ideally within the technology or financial services sector — you understand how to build relationships and drive value for clients. You are capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations with stakeholders at various levels, including CTOs and CFOs. You possess a strategic mindset and are adept at identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. Your analytical skills allow you to leverage data to inform your decisions and actions. You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating persistence and a collaborative spirit. You have a willingness to learn and understand the Stripe API, which will enhance your ability to serve clients effectively.
As an Account Executive on the Existing Business team, you will manage a portfolio of Stripe’s SMB users, proactively identifying growth opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction. You will balance reactive client requests with proactive engagements to maximize impact and client value. Your role will involve solving complex client needs by collaborating with product, marketing, risk, and operations teams to improve our offerings. You will be responsible for contract renewals and closing business with existing accounts, ensuring that clients are getting the most out of Stripe’s services. You will engage in consultative selling, understanding user needs and aligning them with Stripe’s capabilities. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive commercial outcomes and enhance client relationships.
