SpaceX is hiring a Supplier Development Engineer to enhance the quality and efficiency of mechanical systems for the Starshield project. You'll collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, utilizing skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering.
You have a background in mechanical engineering with experience in supplier development, focusing on improving quality, cost, delivery, and capacity metrics. You are skilled in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, enabling you to effectively collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers. Your ability to work cross-functionally allows you to drive effective supply chain strategies that align with production goals. You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, which help you navigate complex engineering challenges. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about contributing to innovative projects that support national security efforts. Experience with satellite or aerospace systems is a plus, as is familiarity with government contracting processes.
