  • Experience in quantitative modeling within the energy industry, portfolio management, risk management, and valuation analysis or structuring wholesale energy market business agreements, including retail energy supply, power purchase agreement (PPA) agreements, and investments.
  • Experience in Python programming and building quantitative models that leverage SQL based queries to convert data into business insights.

Preferred qualifications:

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

You will also play an instrumental role on the team evaluating and structuring investments to support the energy portfolio’s objectives. This includes supporting and guiding execution on specific commercial agreements points driven by data derived from financial modeling while identifying and optimizing for portfolio wide objectives.
