Overview

Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales and bring IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. This remote role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are comfortable engaging with mid-sized customers. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes and negotiating pricing with multiple stakeholders. You thrive in a remote work environment and are willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and close deals. You understand the importance of the Internet of Things (IoT) and are excited about helping businesses leverage sensor data to improve their operations. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey the value of Samsara's solutions to executives and CXOs. You are results-driven and motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with mid-sized customers, helping them understand the benefits of Samsara's IoT solutions. You will conduct product demonstrations and manage trials, ensuring that potential clients see the value in the technology. Your sales efforts will typically involve transactions ranging from $20k to $100k, requiring you to navigate complex negotiations and engage with various stakeholders within the client organizations. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with the company's offerings and ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product development. You will also track your sales performance and report on progress against targets, contributing to the overall growth of Samsara's business.
