Senior Software Engineer (Java)

NiCE is looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our dynamic and growing R&D team located in Pune.

Responsibilities:

Strategic:

• Defining, designing and implementing enterprise grade solutions to serve our costumer's requirements and future needs in the area of performance testing
• Innovating and leading best practices and new technology and tooling adoption to increase productivity and efficiency of our customers

Tactical:

• Design and develop performance testing infrastructure of large scale Server-Client environment enterprise applications including the introduction of new technologies and tools
• Working with the R&D & product management leads to identify innovation and improved efficiency/value opportunities to drive improvements into the performance infrastructure
• Deliver high quality, sustainable and maintainable code
• Contribute and lead design of features, conduct design review and own the process from start to finish
• Work in an empowered, self-managed, collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment that fosters ownership, creativity and innovation

Qualifications

• BE./B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of proven experience in Software Engineering
• Development experience in Java (preferred) or Python
• Proven knowledge of one or more cloud providers and their services, preferably AWS
• Good problem-solving abilities
• High level verbal and written English skills
• PaaS/SaaS performance testing and engineering experience - advantage
