Job Description

If so, the RSR (Rural & Super Rural) Infrastructure Change Management (ICM) team, a segment of the Last Mile organization, is for you.

RSR is looking for a Senior Program Manager for the Infrastructure Change Management team who will lead in the emerging Last Mile business vertical, RSR, to drive execution of new projects, technology, and innovation. RSR sites serve Amazon’s customers in rural and remote areas. The candidate will be able to manage multiple large-scale projects, own schedules, outline key milestones, and ensure deliverables are met. The successful candidate will be able to bring stakeholders together, uphold accountability, develop creative solutions, and navigate problem solving situations.

This individual will play an integral role in helping Amazon build the most advanced and safest sites in the world by partnering with the stakeholder teams such as Safety, Design, Pre-Construction, and Construction to roll out retrofit projects to existing RSR sites. The candidate will partner closely with a broad set of stakeholders to manage multiple high profile, high impact business initiatives concurrently.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive process, capacity, performance, technology, compliance, and safety-related program objectives – define business requirements, translate requirements into project plans, manage implementation activities across a large group of stakeholders, develop and execute rollout plans and ongoing support.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, drive resolution of critical issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and propose corrective actions to keep initiatives moving forward.
• Collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and process excellence.
• Review new change requests from program and operations stakeholders against existing standards.
• Identify and address customer and business pain points by actively deep diving into data and operational processes and working with cross-functional teams.
• Schedule and moderate multiple weekly standing meetings with internal teams to obtain or share information and approve changes; coordinate information between various teams in the organization.


A day in the life
On a daily basis this role will entail intaking projects, vetting them for proper detail, and determining what stakeholders to involve in the project. You will spend time engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the change in business is tracked and running according to plan from initiation, assessment, development, analysis, and execution until closure of the change. This role will guide business owners, program owners, change requesters and leadership on high-judgement decisions in the process. You will help deliver success and remove roadblocks by collaborating on creative solutions and setting new standards for in-flight and future launches.

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
