Overview

Relativity is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of the Terran R rocket. You'll work on complex systems and collaborate across teams to ensure flight readiness. This role requires hands-on experience in mechanical engineering.

You have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing and testing complex systems. You thrive in hands-on environments and enjoy solving challenging problems that push the boundaries of technology. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams is key, as you will work closely with propulsion, manufacturing, and avionics teams to ensure the success of the Terran R vehicle.

You are detail-oriented and possess a deep understanding of mechanical systems, including propulsion and stage test stands. Your experience allows you to contribute effectively to the design and operation of large-scale systems, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of flight readiness. You are passionate about innovation and eager to leave your mark on the future of space exploration.

Desirable

Experience with rocket propulsion systems or aerospace engineering is a plus. Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take ownership of your work will set you apart.

What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Relativity, you will play a crucial role in the design and operation of propulsion and stage test stands.
