Job Description

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

We’re looking for a Manager, Publishing to help shape and deliver the local vision for Tudum.com, Netflix’ home for fandom. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Publishing, this role focuses on the day-to-day coordination and execution of content across titles, campaigns, and initiatives. You’ll balance tactical excellence with creative thinking — ensuring localized, translated, or original local content connects with members and fans in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination & Execution

    • Manage the end-to-end workflow for local content, from planning to publication.

    • Coordinate and prioritize translation, localization, and original content of editorial and creative content to ensure cultural nuance, relevancy and brand alignment.

    • Split and manage workloads across single-title, multi-title or slates in collaboration with the Senior Manager.

    • Maintain editorial calendars, timelines, and delivery pipelines across internal and external partners.

  • Creative & Multidisciplinary Execution

    • Collaborate with editors, writers, designers, video producers and agencies to develop and adapt storytelling for local audiences.

    • Contribute to ideation sessions — proposing story angles, formats, and creative executions that align with local member interests and fandom

    • Use insights to shape audience-specific content strategies — aligning story formats, tone, and distribution channels to reach members where they’re most engaged.

    • Write, edit, and optimize copy as needed (including headlines, captions, and short-form copy) to meet editorial standards and engagement goals.

    • Work directly in the CMS to publish and update stories; manage visuals through light image editing and asset optimization.

  • Audience & Performance Thinking

    • Use data and insights to help prioritize content, identify audience opportunities, and iterate on what’s performing well.

    • Understand where, when, and how members engage with content to tailor storytelling accordingly and surface insights to cross functional partners in real time

    • Ensure all content reflects Netflix’s tone, style, and brand judgment, while serving the needs of local fans and members.

  • Collaboration & Partnership

    • Partner closely with the Brazil Marketing, PAVS, Publicity, and Social teams to align editorial coverage with campaign beats, fan initiatives and local narratives.

    • Partner with Audience & Growth manager on platform specific content ideas

    • Work with global Publishing and regional counterparts to share learnings, tools, and best practices.

    • Support the Senior Manager in scaling editorial and creative processes, documenting learnings, and identifying workflow improvements.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in branded content, editorial, publishing, or creative marketing — ideally within entertainment, culture, or fandom-driven environments.

  • Experience managing localization, translation, or transcreation projects.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills; adept at juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience photo and video curation, writing, editing, and producing digital content in a CMS environment.

  • Multidisciplinary creative sensibility — comfortable working across text, image, and video formats.

  • Deep understanding of Brazilian audience behavior and pop-culture trends.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English required.

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.
