The e-Commerce Services Group at Amazon is an agile team whose charter is to deliver the next generation of e-Commerce solutions.

In this role, you will lead Amazon's product suite that models’ transportation and regional capabilities for all items, offers, sellers, and destinations across Amazon marketplaces. Our vision is to simplify the creation of regionally contextual initiatives and enable a seamless shopping experience based on customer location, program eligibility, and delivery options.
The Shipping and Region Authority (SARA) innovates on foundational products that shape the customer shopping journey from the gateway page through search, discovery, checkout, and fulfillment experiences. Through our four domains (Shipping, Regions, Locations, Restrictions), we influence the shopping customer experience by determining customer geographic location and eligible experiences, product selection visible during discovery, delivery options such as local pickup and home delivery, and available delivery speeds, shipping charges and value-added services. Our Product enables WWAS to achieve objectives such as improving delivery speed, reducing cost-to-serve through regionalization and unit consolidation, and growing the Prime membership base.

You will leverage your deep product management expertise to work backwards from customer scenarios and identify the right opportunities to help us accelerate at scale, and innovate faster for our customers. Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical, you are the end-to-end owner of your product's vision, strategy, and execution. You will define the product roadmap and bring your vision to life by leading a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, program managers, and other product owners. You will drive day-to-day product development from design through to release. Your product requirements are concise, with clear, measurable success criteria. You are an effective negotiator, make smart trade-offs without sacrificing quality, and drive appropriate schedules. You use data to influence our business strategy and technical priorities, and escalate when necessary without damaging relationships. You independently represent your products and the product team and are comfortable communicating with senior executives as well as with business and technical stakeholders.

A day in the life
As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical, you will be expected to:
* Dive deep with your customers to identify and understand their pain points.
* Use your technical judgment and understanding to test assumptions.
* Think big to build durable products that anticipate future pain points.
* Deliver products on time with the right feature set and high quality.
* Evangelize your products and drive adoption.
* Contribute to organizational product and roadmap planning.
* Help others grow professionally.- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools- MBA
- Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
- Experience with technologies like Hadoop, Rules based systems and Machine learning

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
