WorkWave is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the data ecosystem in their Startup AI and Data Analytics Business Unit. You'll manage the modern data stack and support AI/ML initiatives while ensuring data accessibility and reliability.
You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in building and managing data pipelines and ecosystems. Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, ensuring data quality and accessibility. You are familiar with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and have experience with data warehousing solutions. Your knowledge of Apache Spark and Airflow enables you to design and implement robust ETL processes that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. You understand the importance of data modeling and have experience creating data models that align with business needs. You are also comfortable with data visualization tools, allowing you to present insights clearly and effectively.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and concepts is a plus, as you will support AI/ML initiatives. Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards will help you ensure that data practices align with organizational policies. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to answer critical business questions.
