Senior Startup Development Manager

Who you are

You have a strong background in business development, particularly within the startup ecosystem, and have successfully collaborated with early-stage companies to drive growth and innovation. Your experience includes working closely with venture capitalists and industry organizations, allowing you to identify promising startups and understand their unique challenges. You possess a solid grasp of both technical and business aspects, enabling you to act as a trusted advisor to startup leaders. You are proficient in building and nurturing relationships, ensuring that startups can effectively leverage Microsoft’s resources to achieve their goals.

Desirable

Experience with Microsoft’s Cloud and AI stack is a plus, as is familiarity with product development and go-to-market strategies. You are comfortable navigating complex technical discussions and can translate technical concepts into business value for startup founders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with early-stage startups backed by Microsoft’s strategic partners, helping them innovate and build more efficiently using Azure AI technologies. You will act as a hands-on solutions architect, guiding startups through their product development processes and assisting them in crafting effective go-to-market strategies. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with internal Microsoft teams, such as product, sales, and engineering, to support the dynamic needs of startups. You will empower founders to successfully navigate their product development journeys, ensuring they can maximize the benefits of Microsoft’s extensive resources and market reach.

You will also be responsible for identifying key opportunities for startups to leverage Microsoft technologies, providing insights and recommendations that align with their business objectives. Your role will involve regular communication with startup leaders, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth. You will track the progress of startups and measure the impact of Microsoft’s support, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure success.
