Nuro is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Engineering Productivity to enhance developer efficiency and create tools for the engineering team. You'll work with Java, Python, and AWS to address engineering challenges and improve productivity.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on improving engineering processes and productivity. You are skilled in programming languages such as Java and Python, and you understand the importance of creating tools that empower engineers to work efficiently. You have experience with cloud platforms like AWS, which you leverage to build scalable solutions that enhance developer workflows. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and implement effective solutions. You are passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where all engineers can thrive and feel supported in their work. You are proactive in educating your peers on best practices and are always looking for innovative ways to improve the engineering process.
Experience with metrics analysis and monitoring tools is a plus, as you will be responsible for defining and analyzing engineering velocity and system health metrics. Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration practices will help you succeed in this role. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of the engineering team.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineers across Nuro to identify pain points in the engineering process and develop solutions that enhance productivity.
