Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Repair Technician to prep vehicles for paint, including sanding and buffing. This entry-level position requires a minimum of 6 months of automotive prepping experience and offers competitive pay.
You have a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. You are comfortable using state-of-the-art tools and are excited about the opportunity to work in a high-tech Inspection Center. In this role, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, which includes tasks such as sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You will work closely with other technicians to ensure that each vehicle meets Carvana's high standards before it is painted. Your attention to detail will help ensure that the vehicles are not only visually appealing but also safe and ready for delivery to customers.
You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive repair. As part of the team, you will collaborate with your colleagues to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the prep area. You will also have the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians and gain valuable insights into the automotive repair industry.
