Overview

Ripple is seeking a Sales Director to lead sales efforts in the BeNeLux region. You'll engage with a variety of customer segments, including major financial institutions and crypto companies. This role requires strong leadership and sales expertise in the financial technology sector.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly within the financial technology sector, and possess the ability to engage with diverse customer segments, from large global banks to innovative crypto companies. Your experience includes building and maintaining strong commercial relationships, and you are adept at navigating complex sales processes. You are fluent in French, which is essential for communicating effectively with clients in the BeNeLux region. You understand the nuances of both traditional finance and decentralized finance, and you are passionate about bridging the gap between the two.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at leading teams to achieve ambitious sales targets. Your strategic mindset allows you to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective sales strategies that resonate with clients. You are comfortable discussing technical aspects of financial products, including security and governance, and can articulate the value of Ripple's custody platform to potential customers.

Desirable

Experience in the cryptocurrency space or with blockchain technology would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with key management systems and compliance frameworks is also beneficial. You are a proactive problem solver who can adapt to the fast-evolving landscape of financial technology.

What you'll do

As a Sales Director at Ripple, you will lead the sales efforts for the BeNeLux region, focusing on building relationships with key clients and driving revenue growth. You will identify and secure commercial relationships with a range of customers, including large global banks and regional financial institutions. Your role will involve leading discussions around security and governance on the custody platform, ensuring that clients understand the benefits and features of Ripple's offerings.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to ensure that customer needs are met and that sales strategies align with product capabilities. You will also be responsible for developing and executing sales plans that drive customer acquisition and retention. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback will inform your approach, allowing you to refine strategies and improve sales outcomes.

In addition to direct sales activities, you will mentor and guide junior sales team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. You will represent Ripple at industry events and conferences, showcasing the company's innovative solutions and building brand awareness in the BeNeLux region.
