What you'll do

As a Senior/Staff Systems Engineer at Nuro, you will be responsible for verifying that the Nuro Driver is safe to deploy in its target operational design domain (ODD). This involves collaborating closely with various teams, including Autonomy Software, to ensure that all systems meet the necessary safety and compliance standards. You will define and drive the requirements for system validation, ensuring that performance metrics are established and met.

You will engage in cross-functional discussions to align on the architecture and requirements of the autonomous systems. Your role will involve designing evaluation methods and criteria for success, which will guide the development and deployment of the Nuro Driver. You will also be responsible for documenting the verification processes and results, providing transparency and accountability in the validation of the technology.
