You are an experienced privacy attorney with a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding personal data. You have a proven track record of advising organizations on privacy compliance and data protection strategies. Your ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively is one of your key strengths, allowing you to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, recognizing that varied perspectives enhance problem-solving and innovation.

You have a deep understanding of privacy laws and regulations in the APAC region, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant frameworks. Your analytical skills enable you to assess risks and develop practical solutions that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance. You are proactive in staying updated on changes in privacy legislation and best practices, and you are eager to share your knowledge with your colleagues.

Desirable

Experience working in a technology company or a fast-paced environment is a plus. Familiarity with data protection impact assessments and privacy by design principles will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and can navigate complex discussions with ease.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for advising Cloudflare on privacy-related matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will work closely with product teams to integrate privacy considerations into the development of new features and services. Your expertise will guide the organization in conducting privacy assessments and audits, helping to identify and mitigate risks associated with personal data processing.

You will also play a key role in developing and implementing privacy policies and procedures that reflect best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with legal and compliance teams, you will ensure that the organization maintains a strong privacy posture and responds effectively to any inquiries or incidents related to data protection.

Additionally, you will provide training and resources to employees on privacy matters, fostering a culture of awareness and accountability. Your contributions will help Cloudflare build trust with its customers and stakeholders by demonstrating a commitment to protecting personal information.
