Angi is seeking a Temporary Payroll Tax Accountant to audit and reconcile payroll tax filings across multiple U.S. entities. This role requires attention to detail and a degree in Accounting or Finance. The position is remote and expected to last for three months.
You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, which are essential for auditing and reconciling payroll tax filings. You understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive payroll information. You value diversity and are open to collaborating with individuals from various backgrounds to uncover new solutions to complex problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and reconciling approximately 200 federal, state, and local payroll tax filings for five U.S. entities from CY2020 to present. You will ensure accuracy and compliance in all filings, addressing any variances identified during the audit process. You will research tax notices, resolve discrepancies, and file amendments directly with federal, state, and local agencies as needed. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring that every payroll tax dollar is accurately submitted, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
