The Opportunity...

Centerfield's Brainjolt team is seeking a Media Buyer to help scale our performance marketing efforts across platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Taboola, Snapchat, X (Twitter), and other emerging channels. You’ll work closely with the Director of Paid Media to launch, test, and optimize campaigns that blend creative storytelling with data-backed performance — driving growth through affiliate content for major commerce partners.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves experimenting with new ad designs and trends, and knows how to balance creative intuition with analytical rigor. If you’re passionate about ad creative, scaling, and turning insights into impact, this is an opportunity to grow within one of the most innovative performance media teams in digital publishing.

How You'll Contribute...

  • Take ownership of campaign setup, optimization, and reporting across one or more channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Taboola, Snapchat, X, etc.).

  • Monitor daily performance and make data-driven optimizations to maximize ROI, ROAS, and efficiency.

  • Identify emerging platform features, trends, and best practices to inform ongoing testing and creative strategy.

  • Align media efforts with commerce goals, seasonal priorities, and revenue targets in collaboration with editorial and product teams.

  • Use AI and automation tools to improve campaign workflows, creative testing, and performance reporting wherever possible.

What We're Looking For...

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in paid media or performance marketing

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting data, dashboards, and performance trends.

  • Basic design instincts and experience using Canva or similar tools for creative iteration.

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets — you can confidently analyze performance data and uncover insights.

  • Comfortable shifting strategy quickly in response to performance trends or business needs.

  • Understanding of affiliate marketing, e-commerce ecosystems (especially Amazon), and digital consumer behavior.

  • Strong instinct for identifying trending products, viral content, and seasonal demand drivers.

  • Curiosity about and willingness to leverage AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and testing.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Bonus Points...

  • Fluency in additional languages — particularly Italian, German, French, or Spanish

  • Fluency in Japanese is highly valued, especially for candidates with experience managing campaigns on Meta; TikTok or LINE experience is a strong plus
