Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer for their Customer Success team focused on the Starlink project. You'll drive user experience improvements and manage product strategies. A background in engineering is required.

Who you are

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and have a strong understanding of user metrics such as Net Promoter Score and Customer Satisfaction Score. You are driven and ambitious, with a knack for defining customer experiences and product strategies. Your technical competence is complemented by excellent execution and delivery skills, enabling you to tackle complex challenges effectively.

You thrive in cross-functional environments, working collaboratively with various teams to identify and eliminate root causes of poor user experiences. Your problem-solving skills allow you to fix, delete, automate, or create new processes that address structural and emerging issues. You are comfortable taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.

Desirable

Experience in the telecommunications or satellite industry would be a plus, as would familiarity with software automation projects. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance customer success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and driving core user metrics, collaborating with teams across the organization to improve the overall customer experience. You will serve as a product manager and project owner for feature launches and software automation projects, ensuring that all initiatives align with the company's strategic goals.

You will work closely with teams in network operations, UI/UX design, customer support, and marketing to triage and prioritize issues that affect user satisfaction. Your role will involve analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and you will implement solutions that enhance the customer journey.

You will also be tasked with creating feedback loops that prevent recurring problems, ensuring that the organization learns from past experiences. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams will be crucial in driving initiatives that lead to improved customer outcomes.
