Job Description

As the leader of the Entertainment vertical you will report to the Head of UK Ads Account Management focusing on accelerating a diverse range of industries such as public broadcasting services, streaming channels, gaming and others. You will use your excellent management skills and extensive experience selling digital advertising solutions to the C-Level of major brands to attract, hire and retain a top account management team that will grow and scale the category’s revenues with our Entertainment partners. You will also build the future of our Ad product solutions for the advertisers in the entertainment space by partnering closely with Amazon owned publishers and product teams.

Employing your dual strategic and tactical approach, you will outline short and long-range revenue plans per advertiser with a focus on increasing the team’s overall sales performance. With your broad and long-standing Amazon advertising experience, with deep understanding of the digital advertising and Ad Tech landscape, and well-honed management style, you will lead 15+ Account Managers. All of whom are charged with building strategic relationships with advertisers nationwide. You will be responsible for developing and managing key internal partnerships within Amazon, in addition to hitting your vertical's revenue targets while partnering with agencies to continuously ideate and deliver advertising products that meet our clients’ needs. As a member of the UK LCS Advertising Leadership team you will benefit from owning over-arching responsibilities and projects, and having direct access to the leaders of other WW and EU Advertising teams.


Key job responsibilities
- Lead a high performing account management team of 15+ reports across two levels
- Enable your team to exceed coverage input and performance output goals
- Attract, hire and retain top sales talent
- Elevate Ad Tech skill sets and develop muscle in the organization
- Outline short and long-range sales revenue plans per brand, account, brand, annual revenue budgets; tactical action plans
- Drive the sales management process as well as play a hands-on role in driving sales, generating leads and opening doors for the sales organization
- Partner across organizations to ensure the account management team is setup for success
- Drive strategic meetings with senior executives to expand priorities
- Mobilize relevant account and product partner teams for development; build the strategic narrative for cross-franchise programs; participate in pitch presentation
- Evangelize existing and develop new scalable fandom audience and activation narratives inclusive of insights, sales collateral, targeting solutions and activation roadmaps
- Innovate and partner with wider Amazon teams to develop ongoing desirable, transformative solutions across audience targeting solutions, insights and product customizations- Experience managing teams who deliver on defined input and output goals
- Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales and generate revenue
- Deep understanding of Amazon Ad Tech solutions and Amazon Demand Side Platform
- Proven track record of aligning cross-functional teams, internally and externally
- Ability to navigate data and leverage analytics to make decisions
- Deep understanding of campaign performance metrics and analysis- Proven analytical thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs.
- Extensive experience in Ad (Tech) sales with agency or advertising sales experience in the entertainment vertical
- Experience with programmatic media sales
- Proven track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and good follow-through
