InterSystems is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support growth in Belgium, focusing on strategic partnerships in the public sector. You'll work with clients to understand their needs and propose robust technical solutions using InterSystems technology.

Job Description

Who you are

You have at least 8 years of experience with data platforms, system integration, or enterprise analytics — you've successfully managed IT projects in the public sector or with government clients. Your deep knowledge of API design and integration, including REST and SOAP services, allows you to create tailored solutions that meet complex client needs. You are familiar with relational database design, schema optimization, and query performance, which enables you to provide comprehensive technical guidance. Your experience as a primary technical advisor has equipped you with the skills to lead technical evaluations and proof-of-concept implementations effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to deliver exceptional results. You are also comfortable conducting technical workshops and training sessions, ensuring that partners and clients are well-informed about best practices in architecture, implementation, security, and operations.

What you'll do

As a Senior Sales Engineer at InterSystems, you will play a crucial role in understanding the needs of public sector clients and proposing scalable technical solutions based on our advanced data platforms and analytics. You will design and present customized solutions and product demonstrations that address complex challenges in data integration, analytics, and compliance. Leading technical evaluations and proof-of-concept implementations will be a key part of your responsibilities, allowing you to showcase the capabilities of our technology. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
