Duolingo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to enhance the learning experience through innovative product features. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the learning strategy and impact millions of users. This role requires strong product management skills and a passion for education.
You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the education or technology sectors — you've successfully led product initiatives from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals. Your analytical mindset allows you to perform qualitative and quantitative research to validate feature ideas and drive data-informed decisions.
You excel in cross-functional collaboration — working closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders is second nature to you. You understand the importance of building alignment across teams and can effectively communicate product vision and strategy to diverse audiences. Your ability to foster relationships and navigate complex organizational dynamics sets you apart.
You are passionate about education and user experience — you believe in creating delightful learning experiences that engage users and facilitate effective learning. Your curiosity drives you to explore new ways to enhance the product, whether through innovative features or improved user interfaces.
Experience in the edtech industry is a plus, as is familiarity with user-centered design principles. You may have a background in qualitative research methods or A/B testing, which will help you refine product features based on user feedback and performance metrics.
As a Senior Product Manager at Duolingo, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing products within the Learning Pillar — your focus will be on creating engaging and effective learning experiences for users of all levels. You will drive product features through their entire creative cycle, from ideation and specification to development, release, analysis, and iteration.
You will establish the strategy for your focus area, ensuring alignment across product teams and cross-functional partners. This involves conducting thorough research to explore and validate feature ideas, as well as working closely with engineers to guide feature development and ensure successful implementation.
Your role will also include analyzing user data and feedback to iterate on existing features and identify opportunities for new product enhancements. You will collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure that product launches are well-coordinated and effectively communicated to users.
