Job Description

The Fundamentum (earlier knows as Selling Partner Infrastructure) team provides scalable platform infrastructure that empowers Amazon teams to build secure, intuitive, and global applications for web, mobile and APIs. Our infrastructure is used by millions of Partners weekly that are enrolled in multiple Amazon’s business programs, as well as Builders across several internal teams who develop solutions for them. We provide web and mobile app development frameworks, tools, and processes for Builders to efficiently deliver high-quality experiences. In addition, we own and innovate experiences across navigation, mobile, and account-based tools to support business growth for our Partners.
Our mission is for Partners to consistently receive the experience bar regardless of the selling channel. As owners of the tool and systems upon which experiences are built, we are uniquely positioned to ensure that our Partners grow their Brands and capture global business opportunities with minimal effort and time while raising the CX via sharp prices, product authenticity and availability, and convenient delivery.


To help make this a reality, we are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to build infrastructure to support our Partner and Builder infrastructure. As a TPM, you will be responsible for projects that span across the organization and contribute to building scalable mechanisms within Fundamentum, including a focus on Region Flexibility initiatives.

The right candidate will have proven Program Management skills and the ability to translate technical needs and pain points, into projects or programs that scale. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to work with technical teams across various groups to create strategy for and drive programs. The right candidate will have excellent organizational skills and proven program management experience with meticulous attention to detail and strong bias for action. To be successful in this position, you must be highly motivated, creative and a self-starter with strong time management skills who is able to see the big picture, execute flawlessly, and drive against timelines and project roadmaps.


This role is located in Detroit, MI, Seattle, WA, or Santa Cruz, CA.


Responsibilities include:
· Work with the leadership team to set strategy, define the product, and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch
· Use case prioritization, feature definition, ownership of the product roadmap, and customer segmentation
· Engage with service owners and partner teams to identify integration opportunities and drive product initiatives
· Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical
constraints.
· Creation of communication mechanisms for collaboration across SVPs in the broader Consumer.
· Document, maintain and report on program processes
· Identify and manage operational best practices with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction
· Effective communication with Senior and VP level partners both written and verbal
· Perform general administrative functions such as scheduling meetings, event management, and marketing


- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
