Agile Delivery Lead

Who you are

You have a strong background in Agile methodologies and have successfully led teams in implementing Agile practices within hardware engineering environments. Your experience spans multiple disciplines, including electronics design and mechanical engineering, allowing you to effectively coach teams at varying levels of Agile maturity. You possess excellent communication skills and can influence without authority, ensuring that all team members are aligned and engaged in the Agile process. Your hands-on experience with tools like Jira and Confluence enables you to facilitate effective sprint planning and execution, ensuring that teams remain focused and productive.

You understand the product development lifecycle, including EVT, DVT, and PVT stages, and can guide teams through these phases with a clear understanding of their unique challenges. Your ability to work collaboratively with engineering leaders, product owners, and program managers ensures that high-quality hardware is delivered on schedule. You are passionate about continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance team performance and delivery outcomes.

Desirable

Experience in organizations that have scaled from small to mid-sized engineering teams is a plus, as you can bring valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities that arise during this transition. Familiarity with lean delivery principles will further enhance your ability to coach teams effectively and drive predictable delivery.

What you'll do

In your role as Agile Delivery Lead, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring that all team members are engaged and contributing to the process. You will coach hardware engineering teams in pragmatic Agile and lean delivery practices, helping them to adopt and adapt these methodologies to their specific contexts. Your focus will be on improving planning practices and strengthening the flow of work across the wider program, ensuring that teams can deliver high-quality hardware on time.

You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including electronics design, PCB layout, signal and power integrity, mechanical design, and test engineering. Your ability to navigate these diverse areas will be crucial in driving collaboration and ensuring that all teams are aligned in their goals and objectives. You will also partner with engineering leaders and product owners to ensure that the Agile process is effectively integrated into the hardware development lifecycle.

Your role will involve identifying areas for improvement within the Agile process and implementing strategies to enhance team performance. You will be responsible for tracking progress and outcomes, using metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Your hands-on experience with Agile tools will enable you to provide valuable insights and support to teams as they navigate their Agile journeys.
