Job Description

Amazon’s vendor recruitment team, is looking for a talented Vendor Manager within the Amazon Fashion Retail business. Our vision is to, drive scaled growth for our Retail business in Europe (EU), through cultivating vendor partnerships and onboarding the brands most desired by EU customers. In this role you will be responsible for onboarding and scaling, the most customer relevant fashion brands across the EU for the first 12-18 months on Amazon Retail.

Key job responsibilities
Your objectives will be to help build the best possible selection for our customers with the development of partnerships with new fashion vendors. Your job will consist of prospecting, assessing, reaching out to and launching new EU Fashion vendors on Amazon. In your day-to-day job, you will be faced with numerous challenges such as:
Prospect and reach out to new vendors, analyze their potential for Amazon. You will lead first steps, by cold-calling potential partners or attending commercial events and trade fairs, and confidently explaining advantages and benefits of partnering with Amazon
Be a business consultant to new vendors and provide insights and advice for them, being able to deal with different business profiles. Help new vendors to integrate their catalogue data into Amazon platform, master Amazon’s internal tools and train vendors on how to use these tools.
Be the point of contact of vendors: you will help the entire recruitment cycle of new vendors from your pipeline, ram up to able to work autonomously, perform
Negotiate Annual terms with a vendor to ensure vendor is set up for long term sustainable growth on Amazon.
Plan, conduct, deliver and report analyses to understand the performance of new vendors
Help to develop and improve recruiting and on-boarding processes, assist in removing any technical blockers, identifying technical improvement areas and re-negotiate terms in case profitability of vendor deteriorates.
Operate in a in a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment you will own a project in MVR, work autonomously with cross functional stakeholders, think both strategically and tactically, and take full control and responsibility for achieving your goals.- 4+ years of retailor business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding business and/or financial KPI
- Relevant Experience in Fashion Industry
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional internal and external audiences
- Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels, including C-suite
- Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales cycle activities
- Knowledge of EU languages would be an added advantage
- SQL skills would be an added advantage
