Who you are

You have at least 5 years of professional software development experience, demonstrating your ability to build and maintain large-scale, distributed backend systems. Your expertise in compiled languages such as Java, C#, or Go allows you to tackle complex technical challenges effectively. You are comfortable working across the stack of a modern web application, including technologies like React and TypeScript, which enables you to contribute to both frontend and backend development.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product and design, to create user-centric solutions. Your experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP equips you with the knowledge to enhance security, durability, and performance in cloud-based applications. You are also passionate about mentoring and sharing your knowledge with team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and design new features for MongoDB Atlas, contributing to the development of a first-in-class cloud database security experience. You will lead complex technical projects, ensuring that the solutions you create meet the needs of our sophisticated customers. Working closely with product and design teams, you will consider the user’s perspective while building technical solutions that enhance the overall user experience.

You will collaborate with customers and support engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring that our systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will help shape the future of MongoDB Atlas, as you work on developing and maintaining systems that support fault-tolerant, secure, and globally distributed MongoDB clusters.
