Who you are

You have several years of data engineering experience, demonstrating your ability to build and maintain data pipelines effectively. Your hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory showcases your capability to work with cloud-based solutions, and your solid SQL skills allow you to implement transformations and data cleansing logic efficiently. You are familiar with data ingestion from various sources, including APIs and relational databases, and you understand the importance of data validation and reconciliation in delivering reliable datasets. You possess an advanced level of English, enabling you to communicate effectively in a global environment. You are someone who follows defined patterns and engineering standards, ensuring that your work aligns with best practices.

Desirable

While not required, exposure to financial or operational reporting data would be beneficial. Experience supporting BI or analytics use cases is a plus, as is familiarity with data quality or testing frameworks. You are eager to collaborate with senior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the build and operation of Azure-based data pipelines under the guidance of a Senior Data Engineer and Data Architect. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, ensuring they are reliable and efficient. You will implement SQL-based transformations and data cleansing logic to prepare business-ready datasets. Ingesting data from APIs, flat files, and relational databases will be a key part of your daily tasks, as will performing data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity. You will monitor pipeline executions, resolve routine failures, and document pipelines, transformations, and data logic to maintain clear records of your work. Participating in code reviews and design walkthroughs will also be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to learn from and contribute to the team's collective knowledge.
