Rain is seeking a Disputes & Chargebacks Specialist to manage the end-to-end dispute lifecycle and protect the company and its partners from financial risks. This role requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
You have a strong background in managing disputes and chargebacks, ideally within the payments industry. You thrive in detail-driven environments and enjoy solving complex problems with precision. Your experience allows you to navigate the intricacies of compliance and customer experience effectively. You are proactive and take ownership of the full disputes lifecycle, ensuring that all processes are handled efficiently and accurately. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with various stakeholders, including partners and cardholders. You are adaptable and can work in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment, contributing to the company's mission of shaping a borderless financial future.
In this role, you will own the full disputes and chargebacks lifecycle, from intake and investigation through submission and resolution. You will manage and file disputes with card networks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include analyzing dispute data to identify trends and areas for improvement, as well as collaborating with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing best practices for dispute management, ensuring that the company minimizes financial and reputational risks. Additionally, you will work closely with partners to resolve disputes effectively and maintain strong relationships. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, adapting processes as necessary to ensure compliance and efficiency.
