Upstart is seeking a Software Engineer for their Offer Delivery Team to enhance user engagement through intelligent targeting and product recommendations. This role requires collaboration with various teams to optimize user experiences.
You have a solid background in software engineering, ideally with experience in building user-facing applications that drive engagement and growth. You understand the importance of user experience and are passionate about creating seamless digital interactions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies to improve your craft. You believe in the mission of making credit accessible and are motivated by the impact your work can have on users' financial journeys.
Experience with AI technologies or lending platforms would be a plus, as well as familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes. You may have worked in a startup environment before, where agility and innovation are key to success.
As a Software Engineer at Upstart, you will be responsible for enhancing the logged-in user dashboard, ensuring that users have continuous access to relevant credit offers. You will collaborate with the Offer Delivery Team to optimize out-of-funnel cross-sell strategies, contributing to the overall growth of the company. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold high standards of software quality. You will also engage in discussions about system architecture and design, helping to shape the technical direction of the team. Additionally, you will work on integrating new features that improve user engagement and satisfaction, leveraging data to inform your decisions.
