Samsara is seeking a Sales Manager for the Enterprise UK&I market to drive growth and lead a team of Account Executives. This role requires a proven track record in enterprise sales and a focus on new business acquisition.
You are an experienced sales leader with a strong background in enterprise sales, particularly in the UK and Ireland markets. With a proven track record of guiding teams through complex sales cycles, you have a passion for winning new business and driving growth. You thrive in a leadership role, capable of coaching and executing alongside your team, ensuring a heavy focus on New Logo Acquisition. Your ability to build relationships and understand customer needs sets you apart in the competitive landscape of enterprise sales.
You have a strategic mindset, capable of analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for expansion. Your experience in leading teams of quota-carrying sales professionals has equipped you with the skills to motivate and inspire others to achieve their targets. You understand the importance of collaboration and communication in driving success, and you are adept at navigating complex organizational structures to close deals.
Experience in industries such as agriculture, construction, transportation, or manufacturing would be beneficial, as these sectors are key to Samsara's mission of improving physical operations through IoT data. As the Sales Manager for Enterprise UK&I at Samsara, you will lead a team of 6-8 Account Executives, driving core growth and expansion in the market. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's goals, focusing on acquiring new logos and expanding existing accounts. You will work closely with your team to identify target customers, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud.
You will be responsible for setting performance targets and ensuring your team has the resources and support needed to achieve them. Regular coaching and mentoring will be a key part of your role, as you help your team members develop their skills and grow in their careers. You will also collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and offerings, leveraging insights from the field to inform product development and marketing strategies.
In addition to leading your team, you will engage directly with key clients and prospects, building relationships that foster trust and long-term partnerships. Your ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals will be critical to your success, as you work to position Samsara as a leader in the IoT space.
