Dropbox is hiring a Solutions Engineer to manage and grow a team of Solutions Consultants in the EMEA region. You'll leverage your technical expertise in API integrations and AI technologies to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in a global organization.
You have a proven track record of managing and scaling technical teams, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a solutions or technical management role. Your leadership style emphasizes coaching and mentorship, enabling your team to excel in their roles while aligning closely with sales and customer success objectives. You possess deep technical expertise in API integrations, AI technologies, and enterprise security, allowing you to act as a trusted advisor to both your team and customers. Your experience in a global organization has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex challenges and drive operational efficiency across regions. You are fluent in English and ideally have proficiency in an additional European language, enhancing your ability to communicate effectively in diverse environments.
Experience in a startup environment is a plus, as it has likely honed your ability to adapt quickly and innovate under pressure. Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Okta, Symantec, Darktrace, Snowflake, and Slack will give you an edge in understanding the needs of your customers and the solutions you provide.
As the Solutions Manager for the EMEA region, you will be responsible for managing a team of Solutions Consultants who support sales motions both directly and through channels. Your mission is to align closely with sales leads and the global Solutions organization to help them achieve their targets while participating in the development of the regional strategy. You will introduce and support the adoption of new product offerings in the EMEA market, focusing on AI and security solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to ensure technical alignment throughout the customer journey—from pre-sales to post-sales engagements. You will drive operational efficiency, ensuring that all sales engagements receive the necessary technical support to succeed. Additionally, you will represent customer feedback and market needs back to Product and global leadership, influencing the roadmap and strategy for future offerings.
