Overview

AbCellera is seeking a QC Analyst II, Microbiology to support their cGMP Quality Control labs. You'll perform microbiological testing and ensure lab readiness in a regulated environment. This role requires experience in microbiology and analytical testing.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an enthusiastic Microbiology Analyst with a strong background in microbiological testing and analytical techniques. You thrive in a cGMP regulated environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality control. Your experience includes performing microbial support for aseptic product manufacturing and conducting environmental monitoring. You are detail-oriented and capable of planning and coordinating microbiological sampling and testing activities to align with production schedules. You understand the importance of rigorous testing and are dedicated to ensuring the quality of biologics drug substances.

Desirable

Experience in a clinical manufacturing facility is a plus, as is familiarity with various microbiological techniques such as bioburden and endotoxin testing. You are comfortable working closely with lab management and contributing to the overall readiness of the laboratory environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for performing microbiological testing to support AbCellera's state-of-the-art biologics drug substance clinical manufacturing facility. You will conduct routine monitoring and batch-related testing, ensuring that all activities are completed in a timely manner to meet production timelines. Your responsibilities will include planning and scheduling microbiological sampling, as well as performing site support activities such as environmental monitoring and sampling of compressed gas and water systems. You will collaborate closely with the QC Lab Manager to ensure that the laboratory operates efficiently and effectively.
