What you'll do

As a Data Centre Operations Technician at Rackspace, you will be responsible for overseeing all IT infrastructure within the data centre environment. Your primary focus will be ensuring that customer configurations are secure and operational, maintaining an uptime of 99.999%. You will work closely with your team to monitor systems, perform routine maintenance, and address any issues that arise promptly.

You will be part of a rotating shift schedule, providing 24/7 coverage to support our customers effectively. This includes working the second shift from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, five days a week. Your role will involve collaborating with other technicians and engineers to implement best practices in data centre operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will also engage in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring that all customer environments are running smoothly. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will be crucial as you help maintain the high standards that Rackspace is known for.
