About the opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to own a key segment of our customer journey: the Mobile Applications Platform. You will collaborate closely with the Engineering team, as well as Product Designers and QA Engineers, to shape the product vision and strategy. Your focus will be centered on the foundational aspects of delivering high-performance, resilient, and crash-free applications, enabling frequent and error-free releases, ensuring consistent user experiences, and building robust experimentation capabilities.

The ideal candidate will own the overall vision for the team's contributions to the mobile ecosystem and drive the adoption of tools and frameworks that elevate our mobile app quality.

What You’ll be Doing

• Define and deliver a product strategy aligned with Bitvavo’s broader company goals
• Set the Mobile Applications Platform roadmap, drive adoption of tools and continuously improve application quality while maintaining a strong foundation for business growth
• Apply data-driven decision making to prioritise features and shape product direction
• Collaborate closely with your Engineering team & other teams that need to adopt your solutions to support end-to-end product development
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to maintain alignment and momentum
• Influence the product & engineering teams to elevate mobile app quality & experience

What We Look For

• At least 5 years of relevant product management experience, preferably gained in a tech or fintech organization
• Ability to think about the platform side of mobile applications
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, development processes, and common challenges related to performance, stability, and release management (e.g., telemetry, observability, logging, crash reporting, CI/CD pipelines, end-to-end testing frameworks)
• Proficient in leveraging product analytics, performance metrics (P99, P95), crash rates, and experimentation results to inform product decisions and identifying areas for improvement
• Experience with implementing and leveraging A/B testing and feature flagging infrastructure to drive product improvements and validate hypotheses
• Experienced in building and launching impactful products with measurable results
• Comfortable balancing diverse perspectives to support inclusive decision-making

Bonus points

• A strong plus if you have experience with consumer finance products such as stock trading or banking
• Even more bonus points if you are already exploring digital assets and keeping up with emerging blockchain trends
