Klaviyo is hiring a Software Engineer II to enhance product offerings and drive company growth. You'll work with both front-end and back-end technologies, tackling complex challenges. This position requires experience in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
You have a solid background in software engineering, with experience in both front-end and back-end technologies. You understand the importance of delivering end-to-end solutions and have a knack for tackling complex challenges. You are comfortable exploring multiple solutions and weighing business and technical trade-offs to determine the best path forward. You actively contribute to team discussions and help shape important technology decisions. You prioritize reliability and performance in your work, ensuring that the solutions you ship are well-designed and thoroughly tested.
Experience with messaging platforms, particularly in building integrations or features that enhance user engagement would be a plus. Familiarity with WhatsApp or similar messaging channels can set you apart.
In this role, you will support key initiatives that enhance Klaviyo's product offerings, particularly focusing on the WhatsApp channel. You will be responsible for improving existing products and developing new capabilities that push the boundaries of what’s possible for our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your role will involve coding, testing, and deploying applications, as well as participating in code reviews and team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
