Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer for Google Cloud to engage with technical stakeholders and support client relationships in Japan. You'll leverage your expertise in cloud native architecture and communication skills in Japanese to deliver tailored solutions.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 6 years of experience in cloud native architecture, ideally in a customer-facing or support role. Your ability to communicate fluently in Japanese is essential for managing client relationships in the region. You have experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders, showcasing your strong presentation skills. You understand customer requirements and can break down complex needs to design effective technical architectures. Your background includes architecture design, implementation, tuning, schema design, and query optimization of distributed systems, which positions you well for this role.

What you'll do

As a Customer Engineer at Google Cloud, you will facilitate the adoption of Google Cloud products by educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses. You will work closely with Technical Sales teams, acting as a data analytics subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud offerings. Your role involves listening to customer needs and delivering solutions that enhance productivity, mobility, and collaboration. You will assist fellow sales Googlers by problem-solving key technical issues and liaising with product marketing management and engineering teams to stay updated on industry trends. You will prepare and deliver business messaging that highlights the Google Cloud value proposition, utilizing techniques such as whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstrations, and white papers.
