Overview

Relativity is seeking a Senior Structures Engineer to join their team in Long Beach, California. You'll be responsible for the design, build, and test lifecycle of the Terran R vehicle's integrated structures and flight mechanisms. This role requires expertise in structural engineering and a passion for aerospace innovation.

Who you are

You have a strong background in structural engineering, with experience in the design and analysis of aerospace structures. Your expertise allows you to tackle complex engineering challenges, ensuring that all components meet stringent safety and performance standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to life. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by a hands-on approach, allowing you to take ownership of projects from concept through to execution.

You are familiar with the full design, build, and test lifecycle of aerospace systems, and you understand the importance of iterative design processes. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders ensures that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines. You are passionate about advancing technology and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects in the aerospace industry.

Desirable

Experience with advanced materials and manufacturing processes is a plus, as is familiarity with aerospace regulations and standards. What you'll do

As a Senior Structures Engineer at Relativity, you will play a critical role in the development of the Terran R vehicle.
