Guidepoint is seeking a Senior Equity Analyst for the Consumer Sector to monitor public companies and provide actionable insights for clients. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in sell-side or buy-side analysis.
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 10 years of experience as a sell-side or buy-side analyst. Your expertise lies in a bottoms-up, fundamental approach to investment research, focusing on individual companies within the consumer sector. You are well-versed in various subsectors including packaged food, beverage, household goods, apparel, and e-commerce, and you stay current on industry news and trends that matter to the buyside. Your outgoing personality allows you to engage effectively with professionals at all levels, and you possess strong time management and organizational skills. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a genuine intellectual curiosity that drives your desire to learn and grow.
In this role, you will monitor a coverage universe of public companies within the consumer sector, tracking earnings releases, investor presentations, SEC filings, and sell-side research. You will create and moderate teleconferences on timely topics featuring experts from Guidepoint’s network, aiming to produce actionable insights for clients. Your responsibilities will include analyzing industry trends and providing strategic recommendations based on your findings. You will collaborate with other analysts and professionals to ensure that the insights provided are relevant and impactful. Your role will also involve engaging with clients to understand their needs and how Guidepoint can best support their investment research efforts.
Guidepoint offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $750,000 and eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
