Overview

Google is seeking a Sales Manager for their Small Business Sales team to lead and coach high-performing account teams. You'll be responsible for driving sales operations and developing consultative sales skills. This role requires 8 years of sales experience and strong leadership abilities.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, digital media, business development, or advertising agencies. You possess at least 2 years of experience in coaching or developing sales professionals, demonstrating your ability to lead and inspire a team. Your problem-solving and communication skills are excellent, allowing you to thrive in an immersive, rapidly changing environment. You are knowledgeable and charismatic, capable of guiding client sales teams effectively.

What you'll do

As a Sales Manager at Google, you will lead and coach high-performing account teams that utilize consultative sales skills to understand advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will own the operations of the sales team, which includes portfolio management, team building, and key performance indicator measurement. Collaborating with the sales leadership team, you will set strategic objectives and manage day-to-day operations for the business. Your role will involve cultivating customer relationships through key C-level and agency stakeholder meetings, ensuring that your team aligns with Google-wide priorities. You will also guide teams in building and managing effective short and long-term plans with their customers, ensuring customer satisfaction goals are met.
