Overview

Instacart is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of their payments platform. You'll optimize the end-to-end payment stack for a four-sided marketplace. This role requires experience in product management and a strong understanding of payment systems.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on payments or financial services. You understand the complexities of payment systems and have a track record of successfully launching products that enhance user experience and drive business growth. Your analytical skills allow you to make data-driven decisions, and you are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. You are a strong communicator, able to articulate product vision and strategy to stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in a flexible work environment and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven company like Instacart.

Desirable

Experience in the grocery or e-commerce industry is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You have a passion for improving customer experiences and are always looking for innovative solutions to complex problems. What you'll do

As a Senior Product Manager at Instacart, you will lead the strategy and execution of our payments platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our diverse user base, including customers, shoppers, retailers, and advertisers. You will work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to optimize our end-to-end payment stack, focusing on enhancing user experience and increasing transaction efficiency. You will define product requirements, prioritize features, and manage the product roadmap to align with business objectives. Your role will involve conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation. You will also be responsible for setting success metrics and analyzing performance data to drive continuous improvement.
