You have a strong background in information security and compliance, with experience in conducting audits and ensuring adherence to security regulations. Your ability to build relationships with system and control owners is essential for developing effective security policies and procedures. You understand IT infrastructure and can apply this knowledge to monitor compliance and lead remediation efforts. You are detail-oriented and capable of documenting and reporting gaps and non-conformities effectively. Your experience in supporting external audits and collaborating with internal teams is a key asset. You are proactive in identifying potential security risks and implementing solutions to mitigate them.

Desirable

Experience with specific compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA would be advantageous. Familiarity with security tools and technologies, as well as a background in risk management, will enhance your effectiveness in this role. What you'll do

As an Information Security Auditor at Nextiva, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization’s compliance with global security and privacy regulations. You will establish strong working relationships with system and control owners to develop and implement security policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement. You will monitor user access, firewall configurations, and vendor compliance to ensure that security measures are effectively enforced. Additionally, you will document and report any gaps or non-conformities, leading remediation efforts in collaboration with internal teams. You will also support external audits by gathering necessary documentation and coordinating with auditors to facilitate the audit process. Your insights will help shape the organization’s security posture and contribute to a culture of compliance and security awareness.
