Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your skills include heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, which are essential for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels. You are also capable of handling large area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair, showcasing your proficiency in the field. As a team player, you are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. Your ability to train other autobody technicians reflects your leadership qualities and dedication to fostering a collaborative work environment.
In your role as an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various automotive panels. This includes heavy plastic welding and stapling, as well as heavy metal pulling, straightening, and shrinking. You will also engage in roof and rocker panel repairs, ensuring that all work meets the high standards expected by Carvana. Additionally, you will be tasked with training other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and skills to help them grow in their roles. Your work will take place in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, where you will utilize state-of-the-art tools to deliver quality results. You will be expected to contribute to the team's success by being proactive and adaptable, especially during busy periods that may require mandatory overtime.
