sweetgreen is seeking an Area Leader to develop and coach store operations teams while driving performance improvement and recruitment of talent. This role requires strong leadership skills and a focus on customer experience.
You have a proven track record in leadership roles, particularly in operations management, where you've successfully developed internal succession plans and built a strong bench of managers. Your ability to identify and nurture raw talent is key to your success. You understand the importance of balancing people, financial, and customer experience metrics, ensuring that all aspects of store operations are aligned for optimal performance. You are driven by a sense of urgency to improve capability and performance across all levels of the organization.
You possess strong coaching skills, enabling you to train and inspire head coaches and store teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your understanding of the sweetgreen profile allows you to effectively drive recruitment efforts, ensuring that high-potential talent is brought into the organization. You are adept at fostering community connections through marketing initiatives and are committed to maintaining high-quality culinary operations in line with sweetgreen’s operational policies.
Experience in the food service or retail industry is a plus, as is familiarity with performance metrics and P&L management. You thrive in environments where you can develop strong cross-functional partnerships, ensuring that the right support is provided to stores to enhance performance and remove barriers.
