You possess strong coaching skills, enabling you to train and inspire head coaches and store teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your understanding of the sweetgreen profile allows you to effectively drive recruitment efforts, ensuring that high-potential talent is brought into the organization. You are adept at fostering community connections through marketing initiatives and are committed to maintaining high-quality culinary operations in line with sweetgreen’s operational policies.

What you'll do

As an Area Leader at sweetgreen, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive internal succession plan, focusing on building a deep bench of capable managers at all levels of store operations. You will lead the development of head coaches, providing them with the tools and feedback necessary to excel in their roles. Your focus will be on driving continuous performance improvement by analyzing leading indicators and established key metrics, ensuring that all stores meet or exceed their annual P&L objectives.

You will play a crucial role in driving top-line sales performance by fostering customer connections through community marketing initiatives, throughput enhancements, and new product launches. Your ability to inspire and train teams will be essential in delivering high-quality culinary operations and exceptional customer experiences. You will also be responsible for developing strong cross-functional partnerships that facilitate the right support for stores, helping to improve performance and remove any operational barriers.
