Job Description
**What You’ll Do**
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives driving Uber’s HR technology transformation.
- Manage delivery across multiple HCM modules including Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Payroll, Time, and Absence.
- Collaborate with HR, Engineering, and vendor partners to define project scope, timelines, and dependencies.
- Oversee execution across configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, and change management.
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage interdependencies, and resolve blockers across global teams.
- Drive consistent delivery frameworks and governance using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Communicate progress, risks, and metrics effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Foster strong collaboration across time zones (U.S., EMEA, APAC) and promote a culture of partnership and accountability.
- Contribute to process improvements and ensure scalability of the HR tech landscape post go-live.
**What You'll Need:**
- 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Engineering Manager in IT / Enterprise Systems.
- Proven experience leading large-scale **ERP or HCM implementations** (Oracle HCM, Workday, SAP, etc.).
- Strong grasp of **program management methodologies**, including Agile and hybrid models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business domains.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities; able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Hands-on experience with **Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.**
**Bonus point if:**
- In-depth understanding of HR technology and processes (Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Recruiting).
- Prior experience with **Oracle HCM Cloud** or other enterprise cloud implementations.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder alignment skills in a matrixed setup.
- **PMP or Agile/Scrum certification** preferred.
- Experience working with distributed global teams and external vendors.
