Crusoe is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician II to ensure the high-performance operation and maintenance of their power facility in Abilene, TX. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment critical to the facility's operations.
You are a skilled Operations & Maintenance Technician with experience in maintaining and operating power generation equipment. You have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, and you can troubleshoot complex issues with minimal guidance. Your commitment to safety and environmental compliance is paramount in your work. You thrive in a team environment and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions in the energy sector.
Experience with Combined Cycle power generating facilities or similar systems is a plus. Familiarity with gas and steam turbines, generators, and water treatment equipment will set you apart. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
In this role, you will operate and maintain equipment at Crusoe's Combined Cycle power generating facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of plant operations, performing routine inspections, and conducting preventive maintenance. Your technical troubleshooting skills will be essential as you diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Additionally, you will document maintenance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
