Microsoft is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to enhance the quality and efficiency of its cloud infrastructure. You'll be part of a team focused on delivering high-quality hardware solutions. This role requires extensive experience in quality engineering.
You have a strong background in quality engineering, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and hardware solutions. Your experience includes developing and implementing quality assurance processes that ensure high standards are met throughout the product lifecycle. You are adept at identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance product quality and operational efficiency. You understand the importance of customer-focused solutions and are passionate about delivering a trusted experience to users. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams allows you to effectively communicate quality standards and expectations.
Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure management is a plus. Familiarity with hardware manufacturing processes and quality metrics will set you apart. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality.
As a Senior Quality Engineer at Microsoft, you will play a crucial role in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing. You will work closely with the Hardware, Infrastructure Management, and Fundamentals Engineering team to improve planning processes, quality, delivery, and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring that products meet quality standards before deployment. You will also collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on product design and functionality, ensuring that quality is built into the product from the ground up.
You will be instrumental in driving initiatives that enhance the quality of Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure, contributing to the overall success of the Intelligent Cloud mission. Your insights and industry knowledge will help envision and implement future technical solutions that optimize cloud infrastructure management. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of quality within the team.
