Rubrik is seeking a Strategic Sales Engineer to provide technical direction and business guidance to the sales team. You'll be responsible for driving innovative technical programs and customer demonstrations. This role requires expertise in data resilience and competitive storage offerings.
You have a strong background in sales engineering, with experience in providing technical leadership and direction to both customers and internal teams. You understand the importance of resilience against cyberattacks and operational disruptions, and you are passionate about protecting data. You are a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and can exceed sales quotas through innovative technical programs and customer engagement.
You possess a deep understanding of Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, and competitive storage offerings. Your ability to analyze, design, and develop integrated technology solutions is complemented by your excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively evangelize and position solutions to a diverse range of clients. You are comfortable working with sales teams to drive pipeline generation and customer demonstrations, ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs.
Experience with data resilience tools and a background in cybersecurity will set you apart. Familiarity with account-level activities and the ability to oversee day-to-day operations will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Your responsibilities will include conducting customer demonstrations and proof of concepts, ensuring that clients understand the value of Rubrik’s offerings.
You will collaborate closely with account executives to drive pipeline generation and exceed sales quotas. Your role will involve analyzing customer needs and tailoring solutions that meet their specific requirements. You will also oversee day-to-day account-level activities, ensuring that all technical aspects are addressed and that customers receive the highest level of service.
