Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your skills include heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding. You are adept at roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can work mandatory overtime when needed. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
Experience with advanced automotive repair techniques and familiarity with state-of-the-art tools is a plus. You may also have certifications such as ASE, which would enhance your qualifications for this role.
As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels of vehicles. You will train and mentor other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your work will involve using state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards before delivery. You will collaborate with your team to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional customer service. You will also be expected to adapt to the needs of the business, which may include working overtime during peak times to meet customer demands.
