Amazon is seeking a Senior Privacy Specialist to enhance trust and privacy for the Amazon Leo initiative. You'll work with cross-functional teams to manage privacy risks and establish governance programs. This role requires experience in privacy risk management and technical program management.
You have extensive experience in privacy risk management and incident response, ideally with a background in technical program or product management. Your ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders allows you to effectively identify and prioritize privacy risks. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of privacy regulations and best practices, which enables you to drive privacy by design outcomes. You thrive in cross-functional environments and are skilled at communicating complex privacy concepts to diverse audiences. In this role, you will lead the establishment of the incident management program for Amazon Leo, ensuring that privacy risks are identified and mitigated effectively across global operations. You will partner with various teams, including engineering, legal, and public policy, to drive privacy initiatives and governance programs. Your responsibilities will include conducting architecture design reviews, tracking implementation of privacy measures, and reporting progress to stakeholders and leadership. You will also be instrumental in developing training and awareness programs to promote a culture of privacy within the organization. Your expertise will guide the team in navigating complex privacy challenges and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
