You are a Junior Developer with a strong foundation in C++ and a keen interest in building high-quality software. You have familiarity with modern C++ development practices and are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent communication and collaboration skills enable you to work effectively with colleagues across different departments, including quant and trading teams. You have a passion for technology and a desire to contribute to innovative solutions in the trading industry. You understand data structures, algorithms, and lower-level performance optimization, and you are willing to engage in technical discussions in English.
As a Junior Developer on the C++ Team at Akuna, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of proprietary trading systems. You will work on a range of high-performance and low-latency systems, including exchange connectivity, trading algorithms, pricing, and automation. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from the technology team and other departments to identify and deliver high-impact projects. You will take ownership of the full software development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design to development and deployment. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient code and participating in code reviews to ensure the quality of the software.
